The Nerazzurri Primavera’s new season has officially kicked off. The first group of players met up this morning at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia and underwent the usual medical check-ups and physical tests, in accordance with the Italian Football Federation Protocol. The second group of footballers will join the squad on Friday, and they will start with the proper preparation and the first training sessions on Saturday morning.

Marco Fiorettto will be at the helm of Atalanta U19s. The new coach is in his fourth season with the Atalanta Youth Academy and has been promoted from the U17s. Players born in 2003, 2004 and 2005 will be part of the team.

The team’s preparations will take place at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia, which will also host the first friendly match of this pre-season, which is on Friday 22 July at 17:00 CEST against Renate, a Serie C side (the match will be behind closed doors). A joint training session with Pergolettese is scheduled for Wednesday 27 July, always with kick-off at 17:00 CEST, in Serina. The Nerazzurri will take part in the “1° Trofeo Memorial Mamma e Papà Cairo” which is scheduled for 4 and 5 August in Alessandria. The semifinal will be against Juventus on Thursday 4 August at 21:00 CEST at the Stadio Moccagatta in Alessandria, while the final for 1st and 3rd place will be on 5 August (Torino and Milan are in the other semifinal).
