On matchday 33 of the 2021-2022 Primavera 1 TIMVISION “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, Atalanta lost 0-2 to Torino at the Centro Sportivo Filadelfia.

The first chance of the game was for the hosts, as Akhalaia’s header was over in the 20th minute. Gineitis’ finish from distance on 23 minutes was much more of a threat: Dajcar grazed the ball and it bounced off the post. The deadlock was broken in the 26th minute through Zanetti, who steered Warming’s assist from the left into the net. Three minutes later, Dajcar had to pull off a great save to avoid Zanetti’s double. Gineitis doubled Torino’s lead on 42 minutes with a header from a corner and Dellavalle smashed the crossbar a minute later. Just before half-time, Fisic had the chance to pull one back after making the most of a poor clearance but was then blocked by the goalkeeper.

In the second half, the Nerazzurri pressed higher to try to get back in the game but the first attempt was for the Granata on 62 minutes through Akhalaia, but his finish was parried by Dajcar. In the 72nd minute, Akhalaia was dangerous again as he kicked hard but off target. Cisse attempted a lob but Milan rushed out to parry it. In the 75th minute, the Granata goalkeeper also denied Regonesi from the edge of the box. In stoppages, Torino went on the counter but Baeten fired over.
