His debut for the club dates back to 25 August 2019: Ruslan made his first appearance in Serie A and for the Nerazzurri against Spal in Ferrara, coming on for Remo Freuler.
By coincidence, he made both his 1st and 100th appearance for the Nerazzurri in away fixtures, both were won by Atalanta.
