Only three days are left until the clash against Fiorentina, the 2021-2022 Serie A TIM matchday 3 fixture scheduled for Saturday 11 September at the Gewiss Stadium. The Nerazzurri trained this afternoon at the Bortolotti Training Centre in Zingonia to prepare for it. Zapata returned to training with the main group (although he is still in doubt for Saturday’s match) and Piccoli was also back in the group, while Hateboer is still out. Five more players returned from the international duty: de Roon and Scalvini trained with the group, while Demiral, Lovato and Mæhle had an individual training session instead. In the evening, Iličić, Miranchuk and Pašalić will also return to Bergamo.

This morning, Muriel underwent some instrumental tests that confirmed he has a muscle injury, which is not minor. The recovery time will not be short.
Initially, Muriel will take a week off from physical activity, during which he will have therapies. At the end of the seven days, further diagnostic tests will be performed to assess the development of the injury.

Preparations will continue tomorrow, Thursday 9 September, always at the Bortolotti Training Centre and behind closed doors, with another afternoon session.
