Coach Gasperini ran a session in reduced ranks: Palomino, Pezzella, Zappacosta and the goalkeepers Rossi and Sportiello took part in the training, while the 17 internationals will return from the middle of next week once their commitments with their respective national teams are over. Muriel and Zapata trained separately, while Hateboer is still out.

Now the Nerazzurri will enjoy two days off, as the resumption of training, always at the Bortolotti Center and behind closed doors, is scheduled for 6 September in the afternoon. The preparations for the match against Fiorentina of the 2021-2022 Serie A TIM matchday 3 will therefore start again on Monday.
