It was a busy weekend for the Nerazzuri Academy, as the youngsters had very important fixtures.
On Saturday, the Primavera drew 2-2 with Hellas Verona at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia thanks to a brace from Cisse, while the U17s suffered a setback and lost 1-0 to Cagliari. As for the Intraregional Phase, it started well with the U14s winning 2-1 at Milan with Percassi and Steffanoni on the scoresheet and with the U13s defeating Padova 3-2 thanks to Amalfitano’s winner.
On Sunday the U18s beat Ascoli 2-1 in Zingonia thanks to goals from Muhameti and Invernizzi. As for the women’s Academy, the Nerazzurri girls also had a good start to the Intraregional Phase as the U17s won 3-2 over Cesena in the opening match with Corbetta, Brusamolino and Amoroso on the scoresheet. The U15s also claimed a 1-0 win over Fiorentina thanks to Vitale’s winner.
