Five Nerazzurri youth teams competed in championship matches last weekend.

On Sunday, the Primavera claimed a 3-2 win at Spal thanks to a brace from Sidibe and a goal by Cisse. The U18s tied 1-1 in the away match against Milan thanks to a late equaliser scored by Invernizzi. At the Centro Bortolotti, the U16s (in the cover photo) beat Brescia 3-0 (with Arrigoni, Cassa and Ndongue Ndongue on the scoresheet), leaving Hellas Verona behind and qualifying directly from the second spot for the Round of 16. The U15s also qualified for the Round of 16 as they finished second after winning 2-1 over Brescia as well, thanks to a penalty converted by Castiello and the winner by Racu.

It’s worth mentioning that the U13s qualified for the intraregional round (the group stage will be played against Padova, Parma and Vicenza) after defeating Como 4-2.

As for the women’s Academy, on Saturday the U17s won comfortably 8-0 over Aurora Sovere thanks to a hat-trick from Bertola, a brace from Gregis and goals from Foini, Raccagni, Ripamonti.
