Atalanta’s youth teams claimed two 2-2 draws in their league fixtures at the weekend. Coach Stefano Lorenzi’s Under-18 team equalised against Milan in their season opener at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia, with goals from Manzoni (in the cover photo) and Orlando, who converted a penalty. Coach Gianpaolo Bellini’s Under-17 side came back from behind down to ten men to draw against Brescia: Baldo and Arrigoni sealed the 2-2 draw, with Atalanta one man down since the 6th minute as the goalkeeper was sent off.

As for the Women’s Activity, Atalanta’s Women’s teams got two away defeats in the Pre-Season Tournament organised by the FIGC’s Youth and Scholastic Sector: coach Michele Frigerio’s Under 17 team were beaten 2-1 by Inter (goal by Sara Testa), and coach Gennaro De Maria’s Under 15 team 1-0 by Milan.
