After Primavera and Under-18, the Under 17 team also met at the Bortolotti Training Centre this morning to start the new season.
The first day was dedicated to Covid-19 tests provided for by the health protocol and athletic tests for the team, who this year will be made of the players born in 2005. Marco Fioretto, who had already coached this group in U16 last season, will lead them. “I already know the majority of this team, so we’ll start from where we left off. Moreover, there will be some additions. I’m happy to be able to continue with this group the work we started last year, hoping that this season will be different from the last one and that the boys can compete in the league and tournaments against high-level opponents”. Last season was irregular and the championship was not played due to known reasons: “But there was growth anyway because the boys are motivated; they have always trained well and have interpreted the training matches in the right way, but it is clear that playing a championship is something different.”
