U15s meet up at the Centro Bortolotti

The Under-15s’ season has also officially kicked off at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia, as the team underwent the usual medical check-ups and physical tests this morning in compliance with the Italian Football Federation’s Protocol.

Alessio Gambirasio, who had already coached the Under-15 squad, will be at the helm of the team with 2008-born players: “We kick off things having always the same spirit. The great thing about changing the group to coach is that there is always new motivation, and you get to know new players. Last season it often happened during the week to have training matches with the U14s so I already know them a little bit. I know it’s a quality group that has some important players with a couple of new additions that will definitely round out the squad”.

“The league begins on 25 September, so we’ll have plenty of time to get ready, we’ll have two months to get to know the players – continued Gambirasio -. I know that they are technically good. Mentally, it will be a challenging championship for them, hence they will have to understand that daily work on the pitch is the only thing that will allow them to improve: if you don’t work and don’t want to improve, you can’t get results”.
