Friday 8 July was a particularly busy day for the Nerazzurri, and not only because the training sessions began to become more and more intense. The team officially began its pre-season training camp, returning to Clusone three years after the last time.

The official welcome to the Nerazzurri was given by 500 girls and boys who welcomed and cheered on them at the Centro Sportivo “Città di Clusone” where the team held its first official training session in Alta Valle Seriana. Greetings from the Nerazzurri were brought by Marten de Roon: “Thank you for your support. I’ll be waiting for you also in the coming days to attend the training sessions” and Davide Zappacosta “Your support gives us strength and I’m sure it will give us an important boost this year too”, who also spoke on behalf of their teammates.

The Nerazzurri’s day began with a morning training session at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia. Then they moved to the Hotel Presolana, in Castione (Bergamo), where Atalanta arrived after 1 p.m. and had lunch.

They then move to the training ground for the first official session at 4.30 p.m. (in the picture below), which took place in Clusone and kicked off at 5.30 p.m.
