The fixtures of the Nations League, the Africa Cup and the World Cup qualifiers as well as the friendly matches have come to an end for the Nerazzurri.
Matteo Pessina started in Italy 0-3 Argentina 0-3, playing for 62 minutes and featured for 86 minutes in England 0-0 Italy. He didn’t play in two matches: the former was against Germany, the latter against Hungary. Giorgio Scalvini, who had already been called up for the match against England (0-0), made his debut for the Azzurri in the match Germany 5-2 Italy.
Hans Hateboer played the full 90 minutes for the Netherlands which won 2-1 in Wales and 45 minutes in another match against Wales, which was also won 3-2 by the Orange. He didn’t come off the bench against Belgium and Poland. As for Teun Koopmeiners, he played in all matches: 8 minutes in Belgium 1-4 the Netherlands, the full 90 minutes in Wales 1-2 the Netherlands, in which he broke the deadlock, scoring his first goal for the Orange; 27 minutes in the Netherlands 2-2 Poland and the full 90 minutes in the Netherlands 3-2 Wales.
Ruslan Malinovskyi started in the match against Scotland that was won by the Ukrainian side 3-1 as well as in the match Wales 1-0 Ukraine, which was the game that denied the Ukrainian side’s qualification for Qatar 2022. In the Nations League’s matches, after remaining on the bench against Ireland, Malinovskyi started again in the fixture against Armenia (3-0), scoring a great goal from outside the box; and last but not least, the Ukrainian played for 27 minutes as a starter in Ukraine 1-1 Ireland.
Berat Djimsiti also participated in the Nations League’s matches and played the full 90 minutes in the away fixture against Iceland which ended 1-1 and in Albania 1-2 Israel.
Mario Pašalić netted the decider in Denmark 0-1 Croatia. Mario also started in the fixture against Austria (0-3) and in the 1-0 win away to France (1-0); he played 28 minutes after coming off the bench in Croatia 1-1 France.
Joakim Mæhle made 4 appearances, all as a starter: 90 minutes in the winning match against France (1-2) in which he provided an assist for the winner; 65 minutes in Austria 1-2 Denmark, 90 minutes in Denmark 0-1 Croatia and 48 minutes in Denmark 2-0 Austria, in which he also registered an assist.
Juan Musso didn’t feature in the victory of the Argentinian side in the 2022 CONMEBOL-UEFA Cup of Champions (3-0 against Italy), nor in the friendly match against Estonia, which ended 5-0.
Valentin Mihaila started in Montenegro 2-0 Romania and in Romania 0-3 Montenegro; he then came on in Romania 1-0 Finland, while he remained on the bench in Bosnia 1-0 Romania.
Remo Frueler played the full 90 minutes in the fixture between the Czech Republic and Switzerland, which ended 2-1, Switzerland 0-1 Spain and Switzerland 1-0 Portugal, while he came off the bench in the 69th minute in Portugal 4-0 Switzerland.
Merih Demiral started in the fixture Turkey v the Faroe Islands, scoring the final goal and making it 4-0; played the full 90 minutes in the victory over Luxembourg (0-2) while he didn’t come off the bench in the other two Turkish victories over Lithuania.
Jérémie Boga played for 63 minutes as a starter in Ivory Coast 3-1 Zambia and came off the bench in Lesotho v Ivory Coast ending all level (0-0). Both fixtures were the qualifiers for the next Africa Cup.
