From 1 to 10, how excited are you to start this new adventure?

“Ten. I’m really excited, really happy to be here finally. And I can’t wait to start.”

You immediately showed a great desire to wear the Nerazzurri colours, where does this excitement come from?

“Well, I love how they play. I think the club is a really good fit for me. I like the coach, the way he attacks, the way he plays the game. I also really like the team, the players. I’m really excited.”

You’ve been in Bergamo for only a few hours, but you’ve already seen a bit of it… Did you like the city?

“I like it really much. It’s a beautiful city, a beautiful country. I also like the culture. So, I think I’m going to feel at home here.”

You spent about ten days with de Roon, with your national team, did he add anything else to what he had already told you?

“Well, Marten told me a lot about the Club, about the players, about the coach but also about the country and the city.”

How’s your Italian?

“I’ve started taking lessons here.”

“Grazie, prego, ciao. Io sono Teun. I have to learn a lot more words.”
