With the clash against Genoa at the stadium Luigi Ferraris, the Nerazzurri not only rounded off 2021 but also completed the first half of the season of the 2021-2022 Serie A TIM.

Atalanta have ended the first half of the season scoring 38 points, which is a record in the Club’s over-century-old history. The previous record was set last season when the Nerazzurri rounded off the first half of the season on 36 points.

The Nerazzurri surely put in an impressive performance in the away fixtures: Atalanta have been unbeaten, having scored 26 points out of 30 possible in 10 matches, out of which 8 were won by Atalanta (against Torino, Salernitana, Empoli, Sampdoria, Cagliari, Juventus, Napoli and Hellas Verona) while 2 of them were tied (against Inter and Genoa).

In 2021, Atalanta scored 100 goals in Serie A of which Duván Zapata, the best Nerazzurri’s striker of the calendar year, has scored 21 of them.

Atalanta is the sixth in the attack in the Italian Top Football League in 2021.
