A spot in the 2021-2022 Primavera TIMVISION Cup final is up for grabs for Massimo Brambilla’s Primavera, who are set to take on Empoli in the semifinal of the competition. The fixture is scheduled for Wednesday 6 April at 14 CEST at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia. The live broadcast will be available on the Sportitalia TV channel 60 DTT, on the App Sportitalia and on the website www.sportitalia.com. Moreover, the match will be open to the public (up to the availability of seats) upon submission of the Green Pass Certificate. FFP2 face masks are mandatory.

It will be a single-leg tie that, in case of a draw, will be forced into extra time and penalty shootouts. The two sides will fight for a spot in the final (on 27 April) against the winner of Fiorentina v Roma.

The Nerazzurri are fresh from victories over Cagliari on penalties in the Last 16 and Sampdoria in the quarterfinals, while the Tuscans beat first Ascoli and then Sassuolo after extra time.

It will be this season’s second encounter between the two sides after the championship fixture that took place at the beginning of December at Empoli and ended in a 1-1 tie (Pagani scored for the Nerazzurri during the first-half stoppage time and Fazzini equalised for the Tuscans in the final minutes of the match).
