On matchday 29 of the 2021-2022 Primavera 1 TIMVISION “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, Atalanta claim their fifth victory in a row (the sixth one including the cup) as they beat Pescara 3-2 at the Delfino Training Center in Città Sant’Angelo.

The Nerazzurri got off to a great start, as Pagani almost scored in the opening minutes when he smashed the crossbar within seconds. The deadlock was broken anyway in the 9th minute, as Cittadini spread for Pagani (in the stock photo), who fired in an angled drive. Pescara, however, did not give up and equalised on 33 minutes through Blanuta, who made the most of a poor back pass.

Brambilla’s men restored their lead on 53 minutes: the penalty awarded to the Nerazzurri for handball was perfectly converted by Sidibe. Scipione tested Sassi in the 59th minute but then Sidibe increased Atlalanta’s lead with a strike from the edge of the box on 70 minutes, which was his personal brace. Blanuta made it 2-3 in stoppage time and that was the final play of the match.
