Holidays are also over for Atalanta Primavera, who met up this morning at the Bortolotti Training Centre in Zingonia to begin the preparations for the 2021-2022 season. The first days will be dedicated to tests for Covid-19 provided for by the health protocol and to athletic tests, then the actual training will begin from Sunday.
Like every year, the Nerazzurri U19s squad has a generational change. This season’s group will be made of players born in 2003, with the addition of some overage players born in 2002 and some born in 2004 coming from the U17s. Massimo Brambilla will coach the Primavera for the fifth consecutive season (Gianpaolo Bellini and Marco Zanchi will still be in the staff, as well as goalkeeper coach Giorgio Frezzolini): “Last season – said the Nerazzurri coach – taught a lot and made us grow, it was very formative for everyone: now we are eager to start over, with very high motivations. We will train in Zingonia and, compared to a year ago, we will have the opportunity to play friendly matches, more time to work and many guys who already have a year of experience in this category. So, from this point of view, this should work to our advantage. The primary goal, of course, is always the growth and training of the players, then we will try to get as far as possible as it has been in recent years”.
