On matchday 12 of the 2021-2022 Primavera 1 TIMVISION “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, Atalanta beat Pescara 4-0 at the Bortolotti Training Centre in Zingonia.

Today the Nerazzurri could count on Mattiello and Scalvini’s help as well. The match got immediately on the right path, as Sidibe opened the scoring within seconds with an angled drive. Pagani doubled Atalanta’s lead by tapping in the ricochet from Oliveri’s daisy-cutter. Pescara threatened through Sakho from a corner, but the Nerazzurri made it 3-0 through Sidibe, who was sent clear on goal by Panada. Ceresoli added a fourth on 40 minutes directly from a free-kick (on this occasion, Sakho received a second yellow card for a foul on De Nipoti and Pescara went down to 10 men). 

In the second half, Sidibe’s chip shot was saved, then Pagani hit the bar and Del Lungo’s angled drive was deflected for a corner and could not add a fifth. Finally, Delle Monache hit the post for the visitors in the 86th minute.
