On matchday 25 of the 2021-2022 Primavera 1 TIMVISION “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, Atalanta claim an important victory at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia as they beat Fiorentina 2-0.

The first chance arrived in the 13th minute after De Nipoti and Sidibe combined, but Andonov parried. Then the Viola had a few attempts off target from Agostinelli and Corradini, with a Del Lungo volley in between that was saved. The deadlock was broken on 40 minutes when Sidibe’s pass found Zuccon unmarked in the centre of the box: the Nerazzurri number 4’s finish was strong and sharp. Two minutes later, Del Lungo almost doubled Atalanta’s lead with a header that was just wide.

In the second half, De Nipoti came really close to doubling the lead on 64 minutes with a left-foot curler that skimmed the post. Sassi then smoothly smothered Kayode’s finish on the counter. Oliveri finally doubled Atalanta’s lead on 77 minutes, assisted by Giovane. Seck stroke the post for the Viola in the final minutes (85′).
