Partnership with Vedrai presented

The new partnership with Vedrai was presented this morning at the Mino Favini Academy. The Italian company was founded in May 2020 and is considered one of the leading players in Italy in the field of Artificial Intelligence. It will support Atalanta with a special focus on the youth academy.

Vedrai, a company specializing in the development of Artificial Intelligence-based solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, becomes Atalanta’s Official Artificial Intelligence Partner. Atalanta and Vedrai share common values and a common mission: to support the positive messages of sport, encourage democratic access to innovation and promote the talent of the new generations. Vedrai is an Italian company that, through a team of mainly under-30 professionals, competes in a challenging league: the Artificial Intelligence market, which is competitive and still underdeveloped in Italy, but saw Vedrai play a leading role in 2022. The focus on young people and innovation characterises the partnership between Vedrai and Atalanta: Vedrai will also feature in the name of the Mino Favini Academy, the home of the Nerazzurri’s Youth Academy and the company will also be actively present at the Training Centre in Zingonia.

Welcoming Vedrai SpA into the Atalanta world is CEO Luca Percassi: “There is no doubt that the collaboration with a technological company such as Vedrai, which believes in the same values as we do, will allow us to take on the challenges of the future and certainly grow mutually. We are delighted with this collaboration from which Atalanta will emerge stronger. We will share experiences that will allow us to better interpret what are the modern needs. We are very proud because there is a new generation of entrepreneurs that are courageously moving forward, and Michele Grazioli represents excellence in his field”.

“We have chosen to support Atalanta because it represents the Italian SME in the purest sense of the word: a club that has managed to climb the Serie A from the province to compete with the greatest clubs of European football, through perseverance and hard work – says Michele Grazioli, President of Vedrai SpA -. The key to this growth is part of a very precise philosophy: believing in the youth, training them and putting them in the best conditions to express their potential. At Vedrai, we also believe that success starts with the growth of people, and that is why we are proud to be able to associate our name with this beautiful project”.

In order to strengthen the partnership, Vedrai will provide Atalanta with its Artificial Intelligence technology that will support both the Youth Academy and the Marketing Department.

“Important topics have been covered,” – said Head of the Youth Academy Maurizio Costanzi – “companies are now required to progress. Today one cannot stand still, we all must be visionary to build the future. At the same time, there is history, which cannot be forgotten and which can be a great tool and sap for new insights. There is a need for numbers and thinking. We in the Youth Academy have also collected a lot of data in recent years and Vedrai will be a tool that will help us a lot”.
