Before Atalanta-Benevento, Luis Muriel received the MVP award for the month of April in the Serie A TIM 2020/2021. The award was presented by the Nerazzurri president Antonio Percassi.

The Colombian forward was able to celebrate this important award on the pitch, as he scored his 22nd goal in this campaign, beating his own record.

The ranking – reads the official statement of the Lega Serie A – was drawn up according to the statistical surveys of Stats Perform (a system patented in 2010 with K-Sport), with the help of tracking data recorded by Netco Sports. For the final calculation, matchdays from the 29th to the 33rd of the 2020-2021 Serie A TIM season were considered.
