Coach Gian Piero Gasperini held a press conference ahead of the clash against Milan for matchday 7 of the 2021-2022 Serie A TIM: “We have Milan after two very difficult and demanding matches, first with Inter and then against Young Boys. We used up a lot of energy in those fixtures, but we came out well from both. We earned credibility from it. And the result is a consequence of the performance. It was a more open match against Inter, as there were many goalscoring opportunities, while it was a more one-sided game against Young Boys. But we proved to be in a good period of form”.

Now there is another match as important as it is demanding: “Milan have grown a lot, they are in good shape. And the results they are getting are the outcome of their performances. Pioli did a great job. We will face them with great determination: it will be an important match for both teams”.
