Teun Koopmeiners is officially an Atalanta player starting from tonight.
After playing his last match in the Eredivisie with AZ Alkmaar yesterday, Sunday 29 August, Teun went straight to the Netherlands national team’s retreat.
He will arrive in Bergamo after completing the international duty with the Netherlands.
“I’m really excited to be an Atalanta player. I think it’s a club that fits me really well. I also really like the country and the culture”. These were Teun Koopmeiners’ first words as an Atalanta player, who also added: “Marten de Roon and Hans Hateboer told me a lot of positive things about the Club but also the city and the people. So, I cannot wait to meet you”.
The final message was for his new fans: “I’m very excited to arrive in Bergamo and I can’t wait to put the Nerazzurri jersey on. See you soon! Forza Atalanta!”
Teun Koopmeiners signed the contract that ties him to Atalanta in the presence of Giovanni Sartori, Atalanta’s Technical Area Manager. The picture was taken in the Netherlands after the player underwent his medicals.
