With the goal scored against Sassuolo, Robin Gosens has set his new personal best for goals scored in a single league campaign. The German wingback has, in fact, joined the double-digit club with 10 goals, having beaten his previous record, which he had set last season when he had scored 9. He had also scored in the reverse fixture against the Neroverdi, while the other ‘victims’ this year were: Lazio, Fiorentina, Roma, Parma, Torino, Napoli, Sampdoria and Crotone.

If we add the one against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League, the total number of goals scored this season rises to 11, one more compared to the previous record which also dates back to last season.
