Gian Piero Gasperini spoke in his press conference on the eve of Atalanta-Bologna, the matchday 33 fixture of the 2020-2021 Serie A TIM season. “We’re facing a great team, who have put many sides in difficulty. Bologna play attacking football. But then again, if you want to stay at a high level, you must overcome these obstacles”.

At this point of the season, every point is important. “We are very satisfied with what we have done so far; there are still six games to go, we have to target second place. It’s only up to us because if we never fail, the others can’t catch us: it is about the math. Then I don’t know if we’ll manage to do it, but we have the possibility to target second place. The team is in good shape. This will be our third game in eight days but this applies to all teams. At this point of the season, all games are decisive. It is an exciting league in this respect”.
