Equalised highest black-and-blue Cup win at home against Valencia
Last 19th February, with the 4-1 win over Valencia at the Giuseppe Meazza in the UCL Round of 16 1st leg, Atalanta matched their highest win in the history of European cups: the previous win dated back to the UEFA Cup, on the 7th November 1990, over Fenerbahce.

The first-ever time, in the Cups, that Atalanta hits four wins in a row
With the win in the Champions League round of 16 second leg, Atalanta have reached the four consecutive wins in the cups.
The Nerazzurri secured their first win against Dinamo Zagreb (2-0 at home), the second one in Kharkiv against Shakhtar Donetsk (3-0 at the Metalist Stadion) and then the double wins against Valencia (4-1 at home and 4-3 away); it’s the first-ever time that Atalanta has obtained four wins in a row in the history of European cups.
Three occurred in the 2018/2019 Europa League preliminary round, with the victories over Sarajevo (8-0 away) and Hapoel Haifa (4-1 away and 2-0 at home).

With the four goals scored at Valencia last 10th March, Josip Iličić has become the all-time top scorer of Atalanta history in the classic European cups, with 9 goals, 4 of which in Europa League and 5 in the Champions League.

Alejandro Gomez and Marten de Roon are the two most-present players in the history of Atalanta in European cups, with 21 matches each, 8 in Champions League and 13 in Europa League both of them.
