Davide Zappacosta has been called up by the Italy national team manager Roberto Mancini to the Azzurri team.
The defender has already worn the Italy national shirt 13 times, so he’s coming back.
Zappacosta made his debut on 12 November 2016 in the World Cup qualifier Liechtestein-Italy (0-4). Davide started in the match and played the full 90 minutes.
The latest call-up dates back to 7 September 2018: Zappacosta featured as a starter in Italy-Poland (1-1) and played the whole match (which was a UEFA Nations League fixture).
