On matchday 30 of the 2021-2022 Serie A TIM, Atalanta claim an extremely important victory away to Bologna thanks to a goal from Cisse, on his Serie A debut: the Nerazzurri win 1-0 at the stadium Dall’Ara.
Pessina had an attempt on 17 minutes assisted by Muriel, but Theate denied him. The best chance came off Scalvini in the 31st minute, as he smashed the post after a corner was flicked on by Djimsiti. Just before half-time, Musso had to pull off a fantastic save on Orsolini’s sitter (43’).
The second half opened up with a chance for Arnautovic, who sprang the offside trap but drilled wide one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Then Musso had to fingertip over a snapshot from Orsolini in the 67th minute. Gasperini threw on Cisse: the Guinean striker born in 2003 made his Serie A debut and scored the decisive goal in the 82nd minute with a left-foot shot into the bottom corner. In the final minutes, Bologna had the chance to equalise, as Medel threatened on 90 minutes with a shot inches wide and Pašalić’s goal from Koopmeiners’ shot to double the Atalanta lead was disallowed as Cisse was offside in the build-up.
