After a day off, the Nerazzurri were back at work at the Centro Bortolotti to begin the preparations for the league fixture against Venezia, which is scheduled for Saturday 23 April at the Stadio Penzo for the 2021-2022 Serie A TIM Matchday 34. Coach Gasperini held an afternoon training session on the main pitch. Besides Freuler and Toloi, Malinovskyi (severe knee contusion) and Pezzella (adductor muscle strain in the right thigh) trained apart from the rest of the squad, while Mæhle started training in the gym.

Another afternoon training session is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 21 April, at the Centro Bortolotti and behind closed doors.
