Everything is set in Clusone to welcome Atalanta. Starting on Friday 8 July, the Nerazzurri’s preparation will move to the Alta Valle Seriana until Saturday 16 July, with training sessions and friendly matches taking place at the Sports Centre “Città di Clusone”. During the press conference that was held in the morning at the Gewiss Stadium, Mayor Massimo Morstabilini also presented the many initiatives organised by the municipality of Clusone that will accompany the Nerazzurri’s training camp.
Director-General Umberto Marino did the honours: “Atalanta return to Clusone with a lot of joy and it was right to start from where we finished in 2019. It also wants to be a message of returning to normality, although always careful. One can see great passion and enthusiasm, there is a great desire for Atalanta in the territory. A lot has been done by the municipal administration, ASD Città di Clusone and all the volunteers, whom we would like to thank. The team will train in a beautiful facility, with first-class facilities”.
Welcoming Atalanta to Clusone was mayor Massimo Morstabilini: “Clusone loves Atalanta, it is a source of pride to be able to host the Nerazzurri’s training camp again, and we also know how much President Percassi, a native of Clusone, cares about it. A number of events have also been organised in the town. Atalanta will have three friendly matches there: the ticket price is 5 euros, while the U10s will enter for free. Finally, I would like to thank all the people who have made themselves available to make all this possible, starting with our Technical Office and the ASD Città di Clusone that will manage the training camp, up to the Local Police, Carabinieri, volunteer associations and the Civil Protection for all the commitment and professionalism they put into supporting this great event”.
The team will have two training sessions a day in Clusone: the morning workout will be behind closed doors, while the afternoon one – around 17:00 CEST – will be open to the public (any changes to the agenda will be announced on this website). There will be three friendly matches: the first one is on Sunday 10 July at 17:00 CEST against Rappresentativa Valseriana, the second one is on Wednesday 13 July, again at 17:00 CEST, against Rappresentativa Valli Bergamasche, while the final friendly is against Gambarogno Contone (Canton Ticino – Switzerland Serie C side) and takes place on Sunday 16 July with kick-off at 17:00 CEST.
According to the organisers, from Friday 8 July it will already be possible to buy tickets in three cafés in Clusone (Bar Sport in Via San Lucio, Caffe Fanzago in Viale Venezia and Bar Gepe at the Atalanta Club Clusone). On the day of the match, two ticket offices will be open at the Sports Centre “Città di Clusone” (subject to availability).
