The friendly game against Sant’Angelo, a Serie D side, ended 5-1 at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia. The first half lasted 45 minutes while the second one 36 minutes, and these were useful to put some fuel in the legs of those who did not feature or played partially in the league match against Monza.

Scalvini opened the scoring with a brace: he tapped in the first goal after Boga’s free-kick had clipped the crossbar. The first half ended 3-0 as De Nipoti added another just before half-time. Mæhle made it 4-0 in the second half and after the half-hour mark, Sant’Angelo pulled one back through Silla and Boga converted a penalty making it 5-1.

The build-up to the game against Cremonese will go ahead tomorrow, Thursday 8 September, at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia and behind closed doors.
