Venezia was the Croatian player’s favourite Serie A victim this season: after scoring a hat-trick in the home match, Mario Pašalić found the back of the net again at the stadium Penzo last Saturday.
It was a crucial goal not only because it opened the scoring against the Lagoon side in the match that the Nerazzurri won 3-1 but also because it helped the Croatian to reach double figures in scoring: Pašalić has scored his 10th league goal this season, setting a new individual record in one single campaign.
Besides scoring four times against Venezia, SuperMario also got goals against Milan, Cagliari, Spezia (2), Udinese and Sampdoria.
