“This is not the point. I’m very happy to have scored 14 points, they’re very useful. However, our thoughts turn to this kind of game, in which we weren’t very lucky. The team played to the best of their ability, attacking a lot and for a long time. When we took the lead, there were all the conditions to win. Then there was a rebound that allowed Cremonese to equalise, while we thought we could win it at that time. This causes us some regret”.

“All games are difficult. I saw many teams win in the 90th minute, and we came really close to winning it today but we didn’t manage to do it. It’s a very balanced league, as these are physical teams and run a lot. Technically there are values in these teams. So, every game gets difficult”.

Roma up next, then the break. The game against Roma will be another tough fixture for Atalanta.

“We’ll play in a stadium where there’s great enthusiasm, against one of the most respected teams, who signed some players that raised Roma’s level, which was already good. It’s a chance for us to see where we are against these teams”.

“It’s OK. We have to accept the fixture list as it comes, we’ve known it for a long time, so make plans. There’ll be an international break, as usual. Many of our players will be on international duty but we’ll use this time to analyse these first seven games”.
