Luis Muriel reached an important milestone in the away match against Verona, as the Colombian striker made his 100th Serie A appearance wearing the Atalanta shirt.

His Atalanta debut dates back to a top-flight match against Spal. It was the 25th of August in 2019 and Atalanta were visiting Spal in Ferrara for the opening fixture of the 2019/20 Serie A TIM. Muriel came on for Masiello in the 55th minute and bagged his first double for the club. That brace was a game changer as it allowed Atalanta to come from behind and win the match with a 3-2 scoreline.

Luis Muriel has made 131 appearances for Atalanta across Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions League and Europa League.
