In the the third friendly game of this pre-season, the final one in Alta Valle Seriana, the Nerazzurri beat Gambarogno-Contone (Swiss Serie C side) 12-1 at the Centro Sportivo “Città di Clusone”.

Koopmeiners broke the deadlock within four minutes with a right-foot shot into the bottom corner after Muriel’s effort was cleared by the defenders. The Dutch midfielder then bagged a brace, this time with a left-foot shot assisted by Okoli in the 11th minute. Muriel added a third as he made his way through the defence, dummied a few defenders and then fired into the bottom corner. It was Muriel again who made it 4-0 on 25 minutes after he intercepted a ball, dummied the goalkeeper and then put the ball into an empty net. The fifth goal was scored on 32 minutes after a great Toloi header bounced off the inside of the post and Okoli got to it to tap in. Muriel then bagged a hat-trick after he converted a penalty in the 35th minute.

Boga made it 7-0 in the second half after combining with Pašalić in the 51st minute; the latter also went on the scoresheet a few minutes later after he collected the ricochet from Zapata’s cross. Djimsiti made it 9-0 after he prodded in from Zapata’s ball over the top. In the span of a minute (78′ and 79′) Pašalić completed a hat-trick, firing in a rebound first and then after meeting Cisse’s cross. Demiral scored an unlucky goal on 82 minutes and Malinovskyi made it 12-1 with a left-foot shot assisted by Djimsiti.

That is how the training camp in Alta Valle Seriana ended. The Nerazzurri will now enjoy a day off, as the preparations will resume on Monday afternoon at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia.
