The Nerazzurri U15s are through to the quarterfinals as they eliminated Inter after a very hard-fought match in Zingonia. In the second leg of the Round of 16 that took place at the Centro Bortolotti, the 2-1 win was actually claimed by the Milanese side but thanks to a 1-0 victory in the first leg and a better position in the table it was Gambirasio’s men to qualify for the next round, with Maggiore scoring a fantastic free-kick goal into the top corner. On Sunday, the Nerazzurri youngsters will take the field again at the Centro Bortolotti in the first leg of the quarterfinals against Roma.

As for the U16s, they are out of the running as, after drawing 1-1 in the first leg, the Nerazzurri suffered a 1-2 defeat to Sassuolo: Ramaj scored the opener, earning a temporary lead for Atalanta.
