The Argentinian defender arrived in the summer of 2017 from Ludogorets and he is about to round up his fifth season with the Nerazzurri.

His official debut dates back to 20 August 2017 when Atalanta faced Roma at home.

José Palomino played his 100th game in the first leg of the 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League Round of 16, in which the Nerazzurri won 4-1 against Valencia at the stadium Meazza in Milan.

So far, the Argentinian defender has played 153 games in Serie A, 14 in the Coppa Italia, 18 in the Champions League and 15 in the Europa League (including preliminary rounds), having scored 8 goals (6 in Serie A, 1 in the UCL and 1 in the UEL).
