Olympiacos, Atalanta’s next opponent in the UEFA Europa League, played two fixtures in the Souper Ligka Ellada, the Greek top-flight.
The Greek team first drew away to PAOK (Sunday 30 January), then won at the Piraeus against Panetolikos (Wednesday 2 February).
In the 1-1 draw with PAOK, Soares brought things level after the hosts had taken the lead; in the 3-1 victory at home, the goals were scored by Valbuena and Rodrigues, who bagged a double.
The top three of the table is Olympiacos 50 points, PAOK 41, AEK 36.
Olympiacos will now travel to Ionikos on Sunday 6 February.
