Sassi then had to make a save on Shoretire and avoided conceding the third goal, while at the other end, Oliveri carved out a space to get the shot away but his finish went over. De Nipoti threatened on 72 minutes but his chip shot was off target. In the final minutes, Sassi parried Elanga’s counter with his foot, but the 2-1 was enough for Manchester United to get the three points.
