Everything is ready at Atalanta for the TIMVISION Cup Coppa Italia final at the Mapei Stadium against Juventus. Remo Freuler spoke on the eve: “We are very excited”. Here is the interview with the Swiss midfielder.

“We are very excited. And we did the final training today. Everybody’s doing well. And we want to win the Coppa Italia tomorrow.”

Remo, has the qualification for the Champions League for the third year in a row made you more excited and more motivated?

“It was our primary goal this year and we have two more goals to reach. And that’s why it makes us even more pumped because we know that next year when maybe the fans will be able to return to the stadium, we’ll play in the Champions League and will bring them joy while they are in the stadium.”

The reverse league fixture in Turin ended in a 1-1 tie. One goal was scored by Remo Freuler. At the Gewiss Stadium, the match ended 1-0. The goal was scored by Ruslan Malinovskyi. Is it possible to make predictions? Or is it better not to do them? What do you expect from the game?

“It’s better not to do them because the finals always differ. Even if I hope to score again, or hopefully, Malinovskyi will, so that we can win the Coppa. It’s better not to make predictions.”

Remo, a few of your fans will be able to return to the stadium tomorrow night.

“Yes, finally! A few of them but I’m glad for them because they were lucky to have the tickets for this match, which is a decider. But, most of all, I’m really glad that there will be finally some fans.”
