Even Marco Sportiello will remember his night at the Mestalla for long. The Nerazzurri goalkeeper, in fact, made his official debut in a UEFA Champions League match. And this was also his debut in a European competition. It’s a milestone that Marco, who grew up in the Nerazzurri academy, has reached in his ninety-second official match with Atalanta First Team jersey (his first one ever was in Coppa Italia on 4th December 2013: Atalanta-Sassuolo 2-0). This way, he has fulfilled his dream of playing in the Champions League too at Valencia. And the satisfaction was even greater as the team won and qualified for the quarter-finals.
