Each Champions League match is preceded by a Gala event which the managers of the two clubs and the UEFA delegates attend. This is a greatly appreciated fair play event. For the Atalanta-Valencia match, the venue for the high-spirited evening was Frosio Restaurant in Almè, giving Spanish guests the opportunity to enjoy some Bergamo-area specialties.
