Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi also attended the Primavera TIMVISION Cup final that took place at the Stadio Penzo in Venice against Fiorentina. Percassi praised the Nerazzurri: “Well done, anyway”.

“Yes, absolutely. Like in all finals, sometimes there may be a bitter result. But we came here for the final and it’s something to be proud of as Atalanta, we’re proud of our lads, it’s thanks to all the work that is done [for the Academy]. Of course, we regret not winning a bit but it’s a part of it. It’s been a great experience for the umpteenth time for all our lads who did everything they had to do today in order to represent Atalanta and Bergamo in the best possible way”.

In spite of this final’s result, the Atalanta Academy has always been on top with all its teams, with its lads. After all, it’s Atalanta’s policy.

“Yes. It’s definitely our priority. We’ll keep on doing what we’ve been doing, investing in the Academy. We feel it in our skin. We’ll keep on working. There’s a lot to work on and to improve. We must focus on the new challenges that we face every day as Atalanta”.
